If you wish to have restoration work carried out on your billiard table or pool table, as well as the more standard types of repair work, the table needs to be transported to our factory. This means moving costs become involved.
The following restoration work can be carried out on a Billiard table or Pool Table you have had for years, or a table you have bought second hand from somewhere...
-
recovering - your choice of coloured cloth supplied and fitted at your premises
-
re-rubbering - or re-cushioning - tables that are around the 15+ year mark generally require a new set of cushion rubbers to be fitted, the easiest way of telling this is to simply throw a ball against the side rubbers at a decent pace and you should get 5 bounces across the table. to fit and shape the rubbers - this is a messy job and generally requires the side rails to be taken to the workshop in order to be carried out , when changing the rubbers you need to also replace the cloth around the rubbers , so generally a re-rubber is done when the cloth on the table needs to be changed.
-
re-blocking - this is the area that the cushion rubber sits on and in some cases if in very poor condition will also need to be replaced when the cushion rubbers are done
-
restorations- I provide a complete restoration service which could be either a full strip of the old paint work , legs go on the lathe and stipped back , in some cases new parts to the table are required, which could be some of the panel work, table is then restained and finished to look in brand new condition- a picture with the repolished finish of a fully restored table is in the gallery of photos.
